Dear sport friend,
You have consulted me about guidelines and products to keep your pigeons healthy and in top condition throughout the year. The system Belgica De Weerd is aiming to minimalize the negative effects of the stay in baskets during transport or exhibition cages by reducing infection risks and improving general health conditions.
To get a better notion about the way you house, race and take care of your pigeons I would like you to complete and return this form.
Are all the pigeons free to fly out?
Is the floor of the aviary made of
Is the floor of the loft covered?
Which floor cover do you use?
Did your pigeons show any of the following signs:
Have your pigeons been vaccinated against
Have they been treated for severe ornithosis using injections ?
Have one of the following difficulties occurred during breeding?
I hereby declare that the pigeons that are, or will be under his/her care, are not bred, kept, slaughtered or collected by the undersigned, with the purpose of the production of food. As the European Commission stated in 2014, this means that my pigeons aren't food-producing animals and may be medicated as such by my vet. The statement of the Commission is based on European Regulation 470/2009 (EU), Article 2b2 and therefore has general validity within the European Community.
The declaration of the undersigned remains valid as long as I have not informed my veterinarian in writing that the purpose for which I keep my pigeons has changed.
